National Pedagogical University
National Pedagogical Dragomanov University was founded in 1834. Nowadays it is the largest pedagogical university, leader of pedagogical education in Ukraine. More then 30000 students studies in an university. Preparation of future teachers is carried out by 1200 teachers, from them 53 academicians of the National Academy of Sciences, Academy of pedagogical sciences of Ukraine and other academies; 200 doctors of sciences, professors; 500 candidates of sciences, associate professors. The University consists of 17 institutes with 97 departments. On February 2008 Institute of Informatics was created. Future teachers in Economics, Informatics and Mathematics, Informatics and Physics, Informatics and Economics were studying et Institute. There are 1 Academician of the National Academy of Sciences, 5 Professors, Doctors of Sciences, 6 docents among the teaching staff of Institute.
