The visiting meeting of the Seminar of Educational Measurements took place in National Pedagogical Dragomanov University on the department of information tecnology. The representatives of higher educational establishments of Ukraine from the Consortium of performers of the Project «Educational Measurements Adapted to EU Standart» participated in the meeting.
Participants of Seminar from the Mälardalen University (Sweden, Västerås) associate professor Silvestrova E.D., from Nizhyn University associate professor Yu.Kovalchuk, from Kirovohrad Pedagogical University professor, head of the applied mathematics department Avramenko O.V.
On the meeting presided depty director of the Institute of Informatics, head of the Computer Engeneering department, professor Sergienko V.P. The meeting was attended by other performers of the TEMPUS Project from National Pedagogical Dragomanov University: associate professor of Taras Shevchenko Natioinal University of Kiev Borysenko O.D., professor, head of the methodology and methods of teaching phisico-mathemtical subjects in higher school department Gorbachuk I.T., professor Malezhyk M.P., senior teacher Frahchuk V.M., head of the computer engeneering and educational mesurment laboratory Mudrak I.M., postgraduate students Kashuna G.S. and Kuhar L.O., students - project participants.
A theme for the discussion of seminar participants was "Prospect of usage MOODLE environment in educational mesurments". Three lectures entered to the program of seminar:
- "Testing in MOODLE system: problems and prospects" ( associate professor Yu.Kovalchuk);
- "About first practical expirience in implementation of specialization "Educational mesurment"" (professor, head of the applied mathematics department Avramenko O.V.);
- "Educational process organization by the instrumentality of MOODLE system" (senior teacher Frahchuk V.M., professor Sergienko V.P.)
The panel disussion was caused by such problems: implementation of computer technologies into process of training of experts in educational mesurments;
abbility of test construction and educational process monitoring using MOODLE system. The participants of the Seminar came to the consent in ordering of syllabuses of courses and they outlined further plans in relation to work within the framework of Project.
Upon completion of seminar professor V.Sergienko informed participants about the program and budget of the International conference the "Educational Measurements in Information Society", which will be hold in NPU name by Dragomanov on May, 26-29 in 2010 on TEMPUS Project.
